Some people never feel that they have committed sin and so they don't repent at all. Jesus died for our sins and life so we need to follow the ways of Jesus. Jesus faced slaps, spit, rebukes, stripes, and thorny crown for whom? for us indeed so we need to be humble like Jesus in any kind of situation of our life.

 1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
