Thanksgiving to God for 2017...
Introduction: 2017 is going to finish soon and in this year we have received so many things in life. Like blessings, money, health etc. Its our duty to give thanks for this year blessings to God Almighty. Now the questions comes in mind that how will we give thanks, just by saying thanks to God or any other method is there. A poor person can't show the rich methods to give thanks to God but he can give thanks to God by his mouth and the loving father will accept it for sure. Our God and Father do not believe in partiality, He is Father of all and we all are equal in His eyes weather we are rich or poor.
Verse: Psalm 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanks giving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all your marvelous works.
2 Chronicles 5:13 Indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music and praise the Lord saying: "For He is good, for His mercy endures forever,"that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,
2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 9:11 While you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
How can we give thanks to God: You must be thinking about the Thanksgiving festival, i am not here to talk about that seasonal loving attitude to God. I am talking about to give thanks to God every time when day starts, day closed, when ever we start something we can give thanks and whenever we finish something we can also give thanks to God. So here we are interested about the YEAR END THANKSGIVING. So the question comes in mind what to do? Shall we sow a seed to church or praying etc.
The heart who loves God: Yes the person who loves God know the heart of God. Jesus often talked about a compassion and love. Love is his commandment to this generation. So if are mature enough we can understand what we need to do.
. Giving foods and clothes to those who are sleeping outside on streets and abandoned area.
. Country like Africa and Philippians have more number of poverty stricken peoples, so we can arrange foods, clothes and other things in consent with church members and pastors to help them.
. If some one is needy in our church we can directly help them.
. We can donate to few ministry for their growth.
. We can sow a seed for Gospel.
. We can distribute tracks and Bible to those who don't know Jesus well.
. We can help to orphanage and widow directly or going to their organization for to help them.
. We can arrange home prayer meetings celebration, also we can arrange meetings in church for thanksgiving.
. As a family we can give thanks in family prayer group.
. We can give testimony to others for the blessings and caring of Lord Jesus for the year.
. There are many things we can do for thanksgiving in the last of 2017.
. At last we can bow down and lift our hands for thanksgiving, because our Lord knows our heart, weather we are rich or poor, it doesn't matter, but our heart really matter.
