Celebrating Sunday like a festival...
Introduction: After seeing a peoples all over the world that they are blessed by the seventh day called Sunday. What is Sunday? Let us educate ourselves with the God given verses here Genesis 2: 2-4 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the the seventh day ans sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. This is the history of the heavens and he earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
Let us proceed: As in modern times we can see that seventh day or Sunday is a day of holiday by the government or the given country. People all over the world has same pattern to follow weather they are different in religion or whatever. Some where there is holiday in both the days Saturday and Sunday. We are here to meditate on Sunday specialty. After knowing the God given day called Sunday, we also learn that in Hebrew it called as Sabbath (playtime, comfort, rest, ease, amenities, relief, quietism and sabbath).
How to plan your Sunday as a christian family and believer: As we are here discussing the Godly way to celebrate Sunday. So we can't mix ourselves with worldly laws and methods to enjoy this blessed day called Sunday. God has taken a rest on seventh day called Sunday. Government of every country gives a rest or holiday to his or her employees, entrepreneurs also take a rest on this day, schools holiday and other things also exist that we don't know but as a rule all take a rest on seventh day as a Sunday. Sunday doesn't mean revolving, eating and drinking. Some people might think then what is Sunday. Keep in mind always that we are God fearing people and we are called believers so our action, thought and deeds must align with Godly way or Words. Godly ways are not scary way at all. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. So this verse nothing tells about that how God keeps us in His tight fist. We have to follow the loving way of God to enjoy our life at all. God wants us to enjoy our life on earth with whatever we have, some have or some have not all the necessary needs in our life. God will provide nothing to worry, be happy all the time and rejoice in Him.
After getting up in morning on Sunday, give thanks to God, read the Word of God with joy in heart, confess the Word of God and claim blessings over your life, prepare a tea or coffee (coffee is not good for health). Brushing and bathing with songs in heart (laugh out loud). Some people might think what kind of author is this. Show your joy to God in your every deeds. It please Him lot, He is our God the Father, and He wants to see us happy all the time. After making a light breakfast and having it. We can prepare for church, which is very important for our life (fellowship is important, see Hebrews 10:25). Sunday school children's must go to Sunday school. After coming back to church taking a food of your choice is good and refreshing, this all to be done as a family in home. Taking a nap for some time is also nice and soothing. In evening we can go to visit some family, relatives or friends. We can also take a nice food outside or a cooking in own home is more enjoyable as the housewives knows the better. After eating we can relax for some time and going before sleeping a family prayer is a kind of reconnect to God. Then time to go to bed. Every body has plan in their mind and to follow it properly is their own choice and liking. Everything should be in Godly manner is good for every believer. Read this Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. When we believe in Jesus, Holy Spirit come and resides in us. So there is Joy in Holy Spirit and whatever we do, we keep in mind that we have God inside of us and with that mindset we do good things in our life so we can say eating and drinking in worldly manner is not good. But if we do drinking and eating in the way God likes it pleases Him lot because He is our Abba and Father..
